Following our announcement on July 2nd, WACEO has initiated the following:
- All community members are welcome to apply to become DAO Community Admins. After the application period is over, WACEO will KYC the applicants and post proposals for each candidate for the Community to vote.
All Community DAO Admins will be paid in eTacos and the amount will be decided by the budgetary committee.
Staffing needs:
In order to improve the functionality of the DAO, WACEO has started looking for the following Service Providers:
MLRO/Legal.
WACEO is looking for a Service Provider who will take necessary actions to commence the application process for licensing the DAO with relevant authorities and application for regulation and compliance with MiCa Regulation. / reference link
Expected timeline for onboarding and vetting the Service Provider is approximately two weeks.
WACEO will work closely with the Service Provider to make sure necessary licences and filings are in place.
Treasurer/Custodian.
Along with the MLRO, WACEO will onboard a designated custodian (such as a notary, accountant, auditing firm) to take on a role of private keys and accounts management role.
Expected timeline is approximately two weeks.
Marketing Agency.
WACEO has started looking for a marketing agency that will take care of TacoSwap social media accounts and community management.
In the meantime, WACEO will act as a custodian of private keys of the social media accounts as per our policies, until a designated custodian is vetted and onboarded.
We are looking to onboard a marketing service provider as soon as possible.
Smart Contract Development Agency.
WACEO will onboard a Tech Service Provider to help execute the commercial strategy.
Once the basic staffing needs are fulfilled, we will work closely with the Community on formation of working groups (features and tech development, commercial strategy, and legal and regulatory working group).
The commercial launch phase is planned 2–3 weeks after onboarding a marketing agency and other service providers.
After 10 days of the commercial launch, a general meeting of the Community will be held in order to evaluate the actions taken.
WACEO is taking necessary actions to improve the functionality of the DAO, and will continue doing so. The proposed timeline here may vary depending on the availability of Service Providers and necessary steps WACEO needs to take to vet and onboard them.
